Basil, lime and sweet chilli stirfry v1.0
Well, since I want to start eating more ethnic foods, I decided to make a thai-style stirfry last night. It was basil, lime and sweet chilli. It went well, although I think I needed to fry the basil first, and use more of it, because I couldn't really taste it in the final dish. I used fresh capsicum, broccoli, baby pack choi and baby corn for veges, and plain basmati rice to serve. It was a very subtle sauce - the flavours of the veges really shone through. We had it with 'Holly's Garden' - a really nice Pinot Gris.
Notes for future trials: Juice of 1 lime, 2tbsp of sweet chilli sauce (ish), more than 1 stalk of basil, cook the basil in oil first. Maybe would have worked better with coconut rice.
It was rather yummy :)

I used chicken as the meat; I figured that since I wasn't using a lot of flavours, anything else would overpower the sauce.
