May. 18th, 2003 11:07 amWell. Big weekend.
Icey's 21st on Friday...that was really good. Got to see a lot of people irl that I haven't seen in a while, and to meet people irl that i've only met on irc before. Dancing was fun :) *sigh* I need to get out more. Especially more dancing. I need more practice :/
Jason & Jurgen's 23rd on saturday...wasn't so much fun. Ok, cards is fun...but not when people are singing silly songs at the top of their not-quite-on-pitch voices, and I have a migraine. Diplomacy might be a fun game...but not when things degenerate into a stalemate, and the migraine comes back. University Christians might be fun people to talk with etc, but not when they get childish and hyper. All in all, it was great to spend time with them, and to meet a few new people, but I could have done with less of it.
And my house is getting very close to the point where i freak out, clean it totally, and snap at people who dare to fingerprint anything - which is *not*, under *any* circumstances, ever a good thing.
The low-level irritation I get whenever I walk into a house that has passed a certain level of mess is not so low here. And that is very, very bad.
Especially since I really don't have time or energy for it right now.
